SuoQ Digital affirms its compliance with Section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2019.
1. What is NDAA Section 889?
NDAA Section 889 prohibits U.S. federal agencies and contractors from procuring or using telecommunications and video surveillance equipment or services from certain companies deemed a national security risk, such as Huawei, ZTE, Hikvision, Dahua, and Hytera.
2. Our Position
SuoQ Digital does not use, resell, or integrate any products or components from entities listed under NDAA Section 889 restrictions. We maintain strict procurement standards to ensure all systems meet both U.S. and international security guidelines.
3. Hardware & Software Assurance
- No use of banned surveillance, networking, or telecom hardware in SuoQ Digital products
- We conduct supplier reviews to validate NDAA compliance at the component level
- Our software and cloud-based systems are hosted on secure, compliant infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
4. Ongoing Compliance Monitoring
SuoQ Digital monitors all updates related to the NDAA and modifies its procurement and partner policies accordingly to maintain full compliance.
